Deirdre and Ryan are having a really cool wedding at the State Theatre in Falls Church next year. Ryan has work that takes him away from DC at times, so we decided to fit in this engagement session before he left town for his next exciting campaign. It was a super warm day and we walked along the canal, Cady’s Alley, and other areas of Georgetown, chasing the perfect light. Deirdre and Ryan were naturals, and their images look awesome!

I (Jen) am originally from New England and I have to say – this is the most snow I’ve seen in the decade I’ve lived in the DC metro area! We ventured out this morning to downtown Annapolis and took a few fun images in the snow. I have to say as much as we enjoyed Katie and Kaipo’s snowy wedding last month, it’s nice to enjoy the snow with no responsibilities!

Right after leaving our community we saw that this state plow truck had managed to get stuck in a snowbank. This did not bode well for our excursion and made us both a little nervous.

We successfully made it downtown where we ran into snowblowers, people carrying shovels trying to get to work, and a guy walking his very cute greyhound (wearing a custom greyhound snow jacket). I hope you enjoy seeing these images from the Snowpocalypse!
