Jennifer and John were married at the United States Naval Academy in the midst of a huge parade on a hazy, hot summer day. It was cool and lovely inside the chapel and we managed to have a fabulous time with portraits around the Academy despite the heat. Shannon and Joe were married at the beautiful United States Naval Academy chapel in Annapolis. After a lovely full mass, we had some time for family photographs and portraits of Shannon and Joe around campus before we headed to the Loews Annapolis Hotel for their celebration.

The Loews Hotel looked absolutely gorgeous with an outdoor dinner setup where Shannon and Joe enjoyed toasts and their first dance. Later as darkness fell, the party moved to the Power House which was lit dramatically with a nightclub atmosphere so that guests could enjoy music, dancing, and a chocolate fountain on three floors!

Susan and Jon were married on a beautiful, sunny day! They made their preparations at Jon’s parents’ home before heading to the church for their catholic ceremony. After the ceremony Susan and Jon and their guests enjoyed a breezy cocktail hour and reception in the Tavern Room at the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.

Sally and Anthony came into town from San Francisco for their lovely waterfront wedding. Both ceremony and reception took place at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, an absolutely gorgeous venue. After a rooftop ceremony performed by a dear friend of the bride and groom, we had a few moments for portraits near the water. Dinner, toasts and dancing followed in the aptly named Sunset Ballroom where everyone enjoyed a fantastic view of the sun setting over the bay. As darkness fell, the party revved up with some very impressive dancing by Sally and Anthony’s friends and family.

We had a great time with Nicole and Brian in some very beautiful surroundings in Maryland. Check out Nicole’s cute little boots! And we didn’t let a little thing like a flat tire stand in our way either. Nicole and Brian are planning their gorgeous fall wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and we can’t wait to work with them again!

Elizabeth and Stephen were married at her parents’ home in Maryland. An international couple, they met in the UK where they reside and Stephen is from New Zealand, while Elizabeth grew up in Maryland. The very warm day was a lot of fun with guests from far and wide in attendance. It also happened to be Elizabeth’s birthday, so her friends made sure she had birthday cupcakes while she was getting ready!

Rebecca and Jake were married on the grounds of the breathtaking Kirkland Manor in St. Michaels, Maryland.  Rebecca’s father and stepfather escorted her down the aisle.  Then the couple’s daughter occupied herself during the ceremony by trying to collect all of the rose petals!  She managed to gather quite a few before the new family was introduced to their guests. After a big group photo and some family portraits, Rebecca and Jake took a stroll around the grounds together.  Under a tent decorated with multicolored lanterns, Truth Groove played into the night and a vibrant sunset provided a beautiful backdrop for the end of the evening.

Alyson and Matt were married on Memorial Day weekend at the United States Naval Academy Chapel. Alyson’s uncle escorted her down the aisle and after saying their vows, the newlyweds had a memorable sword exit! After family portraits and some time for images of Alyson and Matt alone, we headed off via trolley to the reception at the N* Room at the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. We had a fabulous time with the beautiful weather, intimate reception, and enthusiastic sparkler send-off!

Shannon and Joe met us for an engagement session at the USNA where they will marry this summer!

Alexis and John had a beautiful, traditional ceremony at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis.  The dome and altar glowed ethereally throughout the service, especially when the couple wore their crowns.  After the ceremony we were thrilled to have some time to take portraits of the couple at the Naval Academy.  The reception was at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront.  Surrounded by family and friends, the couple celebrated, laughed and circle danced late into the night.
